Hi,

Am able to control the Sharp Volume control and ON/OFF feature with my new Directv HR20 remote. Unfortunately am unable to control the TV input button using any of the codes shown in the Remote setup guide from Directv

has anyone been able to get the Directv remote to change the input (HDMI/Component/...) on the Sharp TV ? If so, appreciate your input

Have to hunt for the Sharm remote everytime I need to change the input for the XBox or DVD Player..or have to walk to the TV :mad:

man your lucky i work tech support for directv I can remember the code off the top of my head but ill get it for you later today when i go in. but its going to be the same procedure as programing the tv
1. move switch at top of remote to tv mode.

2. press and hold mute and select till light at top of remote flashes 2 times then release buttons

then enter the code (that i post later) green light will flash 2 more time after code is entered signaling that code was entered correctly and then it should work if not the remote dosent support your tv

The input code is 960.
