Currently have a cheap MAG 32" LCD in the playroom and use a URC 8910 remote to control both it an a HTPC.

Just got a set of Logitech z-5500 speakers to run in there for sound. However, got a big problem - apparently the MAG tv and the speakers share IR codes! For example, when I press mute on the logitech remote (haven't programmed the speakers into the 8910 yet), the tv changes to channel 6. Most of the buttons on the logitech remote in fact do something to the TV as well. I haven't gone through all the tv buttons yet to see what they do to the speakers.

Luckily, the volume buttons for the speakers don't do much to the tv - vol up is "info" to the tv, so the channel or input shows up for a couple seconds, and vol down doesn't do anything. Mute changes channel as well.

Is there anything I can do about this, or am I stuck? I don't know of any way to change the IR codes either uses, so I suspect I'm just screwed, but I knew here is where the experts are :)
