So I'm going to be getting 1 of these 2 TV's to upgrade from a 27" Viewsonic LCD. I went to best buy today just to check them out and they both looked to be nice pictures. it seemed the Mitsu had deeper colors while the Samsung had better whites and a slightly sharper picture. I think I could live with either one but I just want to make the right choice.

I have been reading alot and eached seemed to have their own pro's and cons

I have heard Mitsu's lamps tend to burn out fast and they they have very bad support if a repair is ever needed.

Then I have heard that the Samsung LED's don't have the best brightness in the world which I did agree with but they also last alot longer so it might be worth the loss in a little brightness. Also I dont think there is HDMI 1.3 on the Samsung (could be wrong on that one but would be huge I think)

At this point I'm just so stuck in between the 2 and it is such a hard choice when spending this amount of money.

Any input would be helpful
