I've read here about people taking steps to get the mini to display 1080p/24p via bootcamp, and that it's already an option under OSX.

but it's not on my machine!

I've got displayconfigX, but when I try to create a custom res 1920x1080 @ 24hz it wont let me enable it! 1080/25p is fine, as is 1080/30p

I'm using a Sony Pearl projector which is capable of 24p
Has anyone got 1080/24p working in OSX 10.4 on a mini? If so, could you please post how? If you use displayconfigX could you post the settings used?

many thanks

Simon

I have a 1.83C2D setup with a Panny AE2000 and 1080P24hz was the default resolution. Just as an FYI it does not work properly, I get 'jitters' about every minute or so even on video_ts SD DVD material. I do not believe it is the processor but the video card (64MB of RAM). I have mine set to 1080P60 and I have 0 problems and honestly can't tell much of a difference over 24hz at 120".

EDIT: I have leopard running.

Not sure if this would help, but according to my knowledge 24p is not really 24p, in fact it is 23.976. This was also the problem with the first 24p enabled Toshiba HD DVD player firmware, every 40 seconds or so you got some judder. a later update changed it to 23.976 .

You may want to give this a shot
