Wow, those were freakin sweet. Mad skills right there. I didn't care for number 2 though. Skillful I suppose since it was some good sniping but it felt kind of cheap since it was essentially little more than spawn camping.

Does anyone know if CoD4 is part of MLG? I've heard stories of some pretty awesome kills from friends of mine who are better than me.

Anything on the RTS side of things? I dunno what's big right now because I'm not really into the genre but I remember seeing some amazing battles from veteran Starcraft players back in the day and I'd love to see that same thing in some modern titles.

Yup I played with alot of those people in Halo 2 and it's actually hard to believe how good they can be. Those kind of kills are practically normal occurrences. I had to stop competing because I just couldn't keep up. That kid named strongside is known to spend up to 12 hours a day for weeks straight to prepare for a tournament. I guess you can do that when you have a 250k contract. Lucky bastard haha.

To bkchurch as far as I know MLG does not have any plans on picking up an RTS. They're pretty narrow minded and seem to think that Halo > everything else. At the events Halo takes up maybe 90% of the venue and almost all the media attention.

As far as Cod4 it is only an online tournament through gamebattles at this time. The problem is that it won't let you create a class on LAN. Alot of people including myself were hoping that IW would address this in their latest patch, but they didn't...

I was waiting for you to chime in:D Tell me more about who you used to play with and what you think of them, PM if you prefer. I used to watch all the MLG stuff back in the day, but not so much anymore, but its still interesting to see how good these guys already are.

O yeah I played with all the pros online and alot of them on LAN. One time my team had to play Final Boss(Uncontested best team in the history of MLG H1 or H2) because they got knocked into the losers bracket by Carbon(owns) which completely messed up the brackets and we had just went all the way through AM bracket and our first match...bam...FB. Oh god it was murder. I mean you were always getting shot off every single spawn it was crazy and it didn't even seem like they were trying lol they were all joking around and stuff. Whereas I was over there playing for my life pulling every trick in the book trying to get a kill I was gandhi hopping around double shotting for my life haha. Anyways we got whooped but I got to shake their hands at least.

Umm and Carbon is going to dominate Halo 3 MLG for at least for the first season I just cant see anyone beating them. Those kids are amazing.

Anyways I'm starting to play H3 again my gamertag is x7 ToXsiK so if anyone wants to add me that'd be cool. I'm definitely not as good as I once was but still decent I think I have a 4.5 kpd on this account but it's cuz I been playing bad kids.:)

oh and speaking of rusty.. i tried to go back and play h2 a little bit last week after h3 since release. lol, what a mess. i was hitting the wrong buttons all the time.

Well I guess I haven't played with or against any FB people in Halo 3 yet so I can't really be 100% sure. What I do know though is that Carbon > FB in individual skill no question it's just a matter of how dedicated they are. I heard from shockwave himself that Cbn would be practicing their asses off for the meadowlands event coming up. Last time I heard him say that was end of 06 season where they won 3 straight events including the national championship. So I believe it.

Thanks for the reply, I will definitely add you, I only play like 2-3 times a month now, down from about 3-4 days a week when H2 came out. Too busy with my kids and my business, but i still enjoy it:)
