I've been reading about a Samsung HD camcorder, but I'm not sure if the video quality will be worth the price which is just under $600. I've had a Sony camcorder that I bought a few years ago, and it works decently. I just got an hd tv, hence the hd camcorder thoughts. These guys have a Samsung for $585,

It sounds like a great deal but the Canons are priced about the same (HV20) and are better. Here is a review of the Samsung.

washingtonpost.com reviewed about Samsung SC-HMX10 on Feb 20th.
HMX10 was issued last summer which was first HD camcorder from Samsung.
Is it less competitive to compare other existing products?
