For those of you here who have updated the firmware. I am unable to get it to come on after holding the stop button on the player and pressing 1 on remote. Any more specific instructions? Am I supposed to hold them in until it comes on? Does it matter which connection I am using? Any help would be appreciated.
I have tried just pushing them on. Holding for many seconds. And each time I let off the buttons it turns on and starts playing a movie.:(

Since no on responded I called Sony. After not getting it to work they finally said that I had to remove all 380+ dvds in order to do the firmware update.
Well that worked and now I am going to have to type all those titles back in:mad:
