Hi Guys
I have a few questions about G90 glycol
1. What glycol do I use ?
Optical grade (99.5% pure) 70% mono denatured ethylene glycol and 30% glycerol/glycerine.
2. Do you mix with water ?
3. For the guys in OZ, where do I purchase it from.
I have searched the threads and members seem to have different ideas.
I believe Marquee use it 100% pure.
But I don't know about Sony.
Also can you just add a bit to the chamber or do you drain the chamber ,flush with distilled water let dry out and then fill with fresh fluid.
Sorry for so many questions at the one time.
Regards
Richard

RichardI have A very low hour G70,I was able to purchase A bare set of brandnew P16 tubes which are the OEM tubes used in the G70, plus in good practice I am replacing the old glycol with 3lt of new optical glycol that the G70 uses if I ever change the tubes. The reason for this is in some cases the optical glycol can discolor over time.If you like I will fined out off my contact here in Australia if the G90 uses the same glycol which I am shore it does, He has A fair amount of new optical glycol for when he was replacing the old tubes in the G70/90's series CRT projectors. PM me if you want to persue it further....
