Congratulations! It's really a good deal if it's working and once it really gets shipped to your house.

For PS3, I know few ways. I don't know if PS3 has component out. You can buy a component to RGBHV converter like the RCT2200.

If HDMI, you can also use HDFury. More info can be found at Curt Palme's site.

Congrats again!

The cheapest way is probably to get a VGA cable for the PS3, and use a VGA-RGBHV cable to plug it into the projector. The best way is probably to buy an HD-Fury, which will allow HDMI input into the projector. 1080i is the optimal resolution. The PS3 is a good upconvert player on it's own. Bluerays will look very good.

That is a good deal. I was going to bid on that projector, but I ended up getting busy.

The cheapest way to get the projector working with somthing other than 480i would be to get a RGBHV BCN break out cable and connect it to a computer with a dvd player.

The best way would be to get the HDfury, as it can be used with any hdmi device and will pass up to 1080p (though you should use 1080i for that projector).

I have a 1251q with about 1300 hours and it throws a great picture. Be sure to take your time, read as much as you can on this forum and curts. Look to the archives, as that projector's hayday was a few years ago. Brooklyn, virtuosity, and myself have some pretty good posts about the 12xx series projectors, as does Sonynut, so just search our names here on avs.

Good luck and remember to post up some screen shots when you get it up and running.
