I'm looking at a large number of (supposedly) HD channels, with a lot of video in 1080i (a few in 720p) but NONE have anything but pcm audio (in stereo, not even dd 2.0). I used to get a lot of dd 5.1 audio but so far, yesterday and today I haven't found anything being broadcast with HD audio (and I have all of the premium channels too)... I haven't changed anything, still same ol' h20-100, same receiver, both used to get fairly nice audio out of the skies.
This is NOT HDTV!!! What has Directv done? What is going on?

You may want to re-check your settings.
I just did a spot check and USA HD is showing the Bourne Identity in 5.1, and Sci Fi HD is showing Reign of the Gargoyles, also in 5.1. Center and rear channels are quite active.

I'm watching The Bourne Identity right now... I guess I need to figure out what is happening on my side. Thanks for the heads up!
Found my problem... a simple reset of the h20. Everything is back to normal.

I can't stand the different audio delays on various HDTV channels. Thank god I know how to change the audio delay on my AVR.
