Guys,

here is rather stupid question, but I can't find an answer anywhere...
I just recently acquired AMPRO 4200 (previously owned, and restored/modified by RAJDUDE).
Yeah, I know... it's AMPRO , but it's 9" LC, and I love it!
Now, the question: I am doing focus/astig (just for training, before I mount it permanently), and it's first time, I encountered 6 pole CPC magnets... WHICH one is WHICH?! My only experience comes from M8000 (with 2 - 4 pole magnets), and AMPRO manuals don't say anything, since it's addition...

Any other pointers regarding focus/astig adjustments would of course be greatly appreciated,

Thanks for your always valuable input,

Kris

Bill blues 101 setup on curts site can be used for any set up . all astig/cpc magnets work the same on all projectors. So do it the same as you did your marquee or follow the Blue's guide on curts site.

Hi Athanasios, THANKS! I know this doc. My problem is that it (as the others I fund) refers only to 2 - 4 pole magnets, and their positions are referred to each other, not giving you a clue as to where physically would be 6 - pole magnet in the mix?.
Doug sent me interesting link which includes picture with 6 - pole magnets installed, and I think I now understand better their positions and relations. Hopefully I will succeed in improving its (Ampro) focusing, other than that, it already looks pretty good, I guess :)

It's another nugget from Curts library:

http://www.curtpalme.com/CRT_Tube_Replacement.shtm

It refers to Barco PJ specifically, but of course general info is applicable to all CRTs.
