i was ajusting the focus on my green and i felt a wire catch as i turned the center focus and it shut down and made some funny noises. i removed the lense to re-connect what i thaught had become disconected and found nothing wrong. so i powered it up and it made a spark sound and shot a chunk of stuff towards the center of all three tubes. the green got a huge semi-transparent piece. the red has a piece of something in the middle that looks like a chili pepper and the blue is almost un-noticable. the green looked as if it were a piece of charcoal and was being blown around inside the tube and that is why its semi-transparent. the red is still solid. will these spots get better with time? has this ever happened to anybody else?

It's toast. I'm guessing you ripped the ground wire off the G2 block as you were adjusting it. That spot burned the tubes. You need a new red and green. I've got a decent red for cheap, no luck on the green though from me..:(

theres a black and a brown wire that could've gotten snagged. most likely the shorter brown but there both completely intact. a while back i was ajusting the green and it disconected the largest connecter and wouldnt power up. so i took the lense off and re-connected it and it was good untill now. i just found it odd that it wouldnt spudder untill i powered it up. ove-corse when i ajusted the focus it pulled something loose and shut it down. then when i went to look nothing was disconnected and it works good except for the two weird spots. almost like some sort of forign matter on the inside of the tube face. the red looks like a piece of bird poop and the green moves around like ash. is it windy in those tubes? lol
