I finally got the Steppin' Razor tonight in a sword match... I almost had the Overkill, but was just out of the 4 second range... How many of you have all the achievements and the sweet Security helmet :cool:

I've had my 360 for only about 10 days and I have 38 of the 49. I think that's pretty good. The only non - online/multiplayer achievement I don't have is beating the game in Legendary - which I'm working on now (in Single player, no less).

Though I guess I should get going on the Online ones ... I've played like 40 games and have a few of them...but if I concentrate I think I can get all except the Overkill pretty easily. From what I've heard, most people party up with friends to get that anyway (which I'd be up for if anyone wants to, lol). In fact, I was just short of the Killing Frenzy one earlier today (got a few kills stolen from me during my streak).

Lol... I suck hard at getting achievements. I think I have like 500/1000 in H3... and that's pretty good for me. I'm only at like 280 in CoD4... basically... Achievements >> Me...

I'm pretty sure I was the first on this site with the 1000/1000.

I don't think it will ever happen on my end. I can't stand lone wolf and a huge number of the achievements require you to play that playlist to get them. I have never mowed anyone down in a mongoose, they seem to just bounce off, so I doubt I will be able to do it.

I think I am around 900. I don't have any of the meta-game achievements. I doubt I will get the sword achievement. I'm not very good with the sword. :mad:

Coincidentally, I just got 3 of the 4 you are missing. I just started playing Lone Wolves reguarly for the first time. I used to hate it (I prefer team games) but I am getting better.

I got the overkill and the killing frenzy achievement in the same game on Guardian and Mongoose on Isolation.

The Sword Triple kill and the 2 for 1 Laser elude me. I suck with a sword, and never really went out of my way to get the laser.
I also haven't played Halo 3 in the last 3 months that I've had COD4.

Yeah, I'm getting a little fed up with the points. Sometimes you unlock something when you earn them, like the gamerpics in Mass Effect, but the points themselves are, ahem, pointless.

I would probably care about getting 1000/1000 on this game if it weren't for their idiotic decision to force you to play the lousy Lone Wolves gametype to get them.

I'm fine with limiting them to ranked games, but limiting most of them to one gametype while leaving you with none for popular gametypes like ranked slayer is just downright stupid.

The achievements should be available in all ranked modes. But when developers make stupid requirements for their achievements I tend not to care about getting them.

I've been sitting on 965 for a long time. I don't think I'll ever get 1000 b/c like FBG said, it forces you to play LW... and I never play LW. If Bungie had allowed their MP achievements to be earned in team variants - I'd like to think I would have got 1000... but as it stands 965 is all I will ever have.

I'm almost there. I need to beat Campaign on Legendary, get Mongoose Mowdown, and get 15,000 points playing the Cortana level. Incidentally, Cortana is the only level I need to beat on Legendary. Too bad it's hard as hell!

Ive been around 965 for awhile. I know alot of people who got the 1000 by asking people in Lone Wolves if they wanted to get achievements. I dont like multiplayer achievements at all.........I do like the COD4 challenges though.

I've got 765 and I think that'll be about as high as I get...I've been getting progressively more and more pissed with this game and the seemingly endless BS that seems to happen, ESPECIALLY when people are lagging even slightly.

I bought this game day one and still have not been able to get into it. Are the new maps free yet? Its just something is missing compared to halo 2. I think its the lack of maps. If the new ones arnt free does anyone know when they will be?

I just started playing H3 again since I've been addicted to CoD4; I managed to beat legendary in 2 days, now I'm going to try and finish up on the online ones I'm missing, suck though since it's been 3+ months since I've played my skill went down from 33 to 17...

I have 1000/1000 in Halo 3, finished it off in January.

The double kill with spartan laser annoyed me the most, I got overkill by luck on my first day of playing the game online :D

Getting 1000 achievement points in H3 seems like a cakewalk compared to the hell I had to go through to get 1000 in COD4:)

im nowhere near getting 1000/1000. the only games that i have 1000/1000 on are fight night and nba 2k6 cause theyre ridiculously easy to get.

Steppin Razr is a triple kill w/ sword in ranked free for all match (Lone Wolves) and Two for One is a double kill with Spartan Laser in LW.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get into Lone Wolf games that are in maps that have vehicles? I basically get nothing but Epitaph through hours of play (everyone vetoes anything else). I need the Mongoose Mowdown achievement (at 935/1000 right now).

I'm under the assumption that only playlists count as ranked free for all's ... custom matches don't.
