I want to hook up my first gen Xbox to my new Samsung 206BW LCD desktop monitor. The monitor accepts VGA and DVI input. I currently have my laptop hooked into the DVI input through the use of an HDMI to DVI cable.

Does anyone know what I need to run from the first gen Xbox to the VGA input on the monitor, or anyway to play Xbox on my monitor without constantly switching cables?

I currently use the Xbox hi-def pack running into my component input on my hdtv.

Thanks for any help...

Chris

If you can find one of the original Neoya X2VGA adapters, you'd be in business. I have one and it works like a charm. Do a few web searches, check on eBat, etc...

Neoya now markets a more generic component-to-vga transcoder:

Not sure how well that one works, so check around.

Hope this helps...
