hI ALL!

iam about to buy a camcorder, ive chosen Canon!
I have a HD-Ready LCD (720p,1080i) i have read lot about hv20 and hg10!
The hg10 would fit better for me if i look the size of the cams, but if i know well the hv20 has better video quality than hg10!
The most important for me of course the video quality when i watch back on my LCD!
My question is which would fit better for my 720p LCD?Can i take the hv20s better video quality(1920x1080) advantage or wont be different the hg10's 1440x1080???

thanx the answers in advance!

Hi,

Both the HV20 and HG10 record to HDD/tape @ 1440x1080, the sensors in the camera's are identical(1920x1080+). The only real difference is the way they encode the video. HV20 uses HDV and the HG10 uses AVCHD. HDV is better(right now..)....but it's really hard to tell the difference.

Both camcorders are excellent and you really can't go wrong with either one.
