I am looking to pick up VM Fusion tomorrow. Do not want to use Boot Camp.
I am unclear on whether I need a Windows XP disc or a disc with Windows XP and Service Pack 2 for the Mac to run it. I have an old WIndows XP disc but no SP2 in it. Not sure if I have to repurchase a new new disc with SP2 on it or if I can download it after Windows XP is installed on the Mac
In going to the VMFusion site, there is converter software (VM Converter) that will apparently bring your WIndows PC and integrate it into your new Mac with the VM Fusion software. Is this how I should get my OS to my Mac rather than a disc?
Is this the way to go? I have a lot of garbage on my Windows PC that I do NOT want to bring to my Mac. Can I ONLY bring the Windows XP OS?
What is the best way to get XP to my Mac?
BTW - Loving my new Macbook (have 2 gb of ram).
