So, I bought one of the Panasonic WhisperQuiet fans to pull air out of my equipment closet but just realized that it can't be mounted in the ceiling due to low hanging ducts, a beam, and other junk in the way. I guess that leaves me with two options:

1. Buy a fan that goes in a different location (like a storage area) and pulls air out of the room (I think that has a specific name but I can't recall it).

2. Mount the fan I have on the wall near the ceiling which I can do since the backside of the wall is in my mechanical room and won't be finished with drywall, etc.

Anyone know if these can be wall mounted, a quick google showed what appears to be a wall mount version of this product but it looks exactly the same. I was worried that the thing might not spin correctly if not hanging.

As another option, can I just wire this thing so that it blows instead of sucks and use it with the more passive option 1 above?
