I have two RF-82 speakers. I am planning to build a box for the speakers and recess it into the drywall and put next to the screen. Will there be any issues with the weight and sound clarity.

Media room is complete but the speakers sitting on the floor is taking spaces and I was planning to build a stage around it.

This approach may be little cheaper and it will solve my purpose (Speakers hidden)

Klipsch Reference Speakers RF-82

Height 43.6" (110.7cm) (w/feet)
Width 9.5" (24.1cm)
Depth 16.25" (41.3cm)
Weight 66lbs (30kg)

Please guide.

I don't recommend putting those speakers in the wall. They were designed to be put out into a room where they can breath. I imagine putting them in the wall would muddy the sound stage and make them sound stuffy.
Also, knowing that they are rear ported is going to cause issues with woofer movement.
If you really want to recess a speaker in the wall consider an in-wall speaker. Klipsch makes some nice ones. Otherwise consider building a false wall and putting them behind some GOM FR701.

I have the RB-81s in-wall or in-cabinet. Im not sure about the RF-82s are the same but my RB-81s sit out about 1 -2 " and they are fine.

no muddying of the sound stage for me but I again have the bookshelf models. Klipsch are front ported.

If you want your speakers hidden either use IN WALL speakers or put your speakers in Acoustically transparent columns such as you see in most of the theaters on here.
Don't build non in walls into a wall, box or cabinet.

If you want your speakers hidden either use IN WALL speakers

There are many front ported bookshelf speakers that are designed for sitting on bookshelves, in-cabinets (or in-wall, which is another cabinet if designed properly). So to generalize that only in-wall speakers go into a cabinet or a built-in hole in the wall is wrong.

Dont know about the OPs RF-82s though. The only difference between them and the RB-81s is that the RF-82s are full range and much bigger. The RB-81s are fine in cabinets, etc and I have done the tests in all locations.

Maybe the OP should do some tests and Maybe this question is better asked in the speaker forum too.
