Hello all

I have a Panasonic S53 DVD player set at 1080p connected via HDMI to a Panasonic 50" plasma, the TH-58X60U. Additionally, I have a nintendo Wii connected via component to the Plasma, and Cable TV straight into the TV's cable input. I'm getting an HD box from the cable company tomorrow, not sure how I will connect this to the TV yet, tomorrow I'll see what outputs it has.

Would I benefit from buying a external video processor? and if so, which one and what would it do in terms of benefits to my set up?

Thanks

J

if u got the $ 2 burn, sure, get a vp with several inputs. if not, yer tv should do a decent job with those sources.
new one coming out next month, the gefen 'home theater scaler pro' with the 'realta chip', under $700. if it lives up to the realta chips 'rep', could be a winner. google for more info.

You can probably buy a good Lumagen for around $900 or so. I wouldn't get the Gefen until some user reports are out as you are new to this stuff. It may be a nice processor though. I hope it is. I love to see progress.
