I have bought a lens setup from Mark/cavx and it was one of the few uncoated lens. I'm trying to find somewhere to get them coated and I'm having a tough time. Every place in Kansas City coats eyeglasses and either their machines won't do it or they only want to deal with commercial accounts.

Does anyone have any alternatives to L&L that would deal with onesie's and twosie's?

I don't have any alternatives. On the DIYAudio site last year, I had investigated possible coating-ers and found ONLY L&L that could do it for a very cheap price (others would do it for several thousand dollars - only L&L would do it for a price that was about $100 IIRC.)

That's a tough one. You might try trolling the threads of the DIY telescope crowd - they need coatings on their lenses and may have a source. Any astronomy clubs in your area? They might know someone who can do it for you. Good luck!
