I recently purchased a Realta scaler which handles and passes all cadences flawlessly "3:2, 2:2, 3:2:3:2:2, 5:5, 6:4, 8:7" were all listed im not really to sure about this 24fps stuff, but if it does it will, is it still worth it to pay quite a bit more for a tv just because its native 24fps.
