***I posted this on the non-HD forum as well.***
Outside of DirecTV's D10, H10, H20, etc. receivers, are there any other receivers that feature two-way serial control?
This may be a re-post, but I was unable to locate a similar topic.
Much thanks!

Thanks Bob. We've used those, as well as tuners from Crestron, Extron, Calypso, etc. As a programmer, I've "faked the funk" with direct-to-channel style demodulators, but it is increasingly common to use guides, menus and the like for channel selection. When doing this there is no possible way of knowing what channel the unit is on, outside of some sort of serial feedback from the unit.

Have you spoken with those guys on your needs? They were quite helpful
when I called them. Scott Hetzler's the guy there.

I must apologize; What I should have said is that we have used the other non-HD Contemporary tuners. This one looks like it would work quite well! Unfortunately, we (the commercial integrator) rarely have a say in which tuner is specified. It would, however, be nice to be able to suggest a more-common, off-the-shelf unit (DishNetwork, DirecTV, Motorola, etc.) for the customer to purchase from their cable or satellite provider.
Thanks for the guidance!

Yea, I'd like a few of those too for remote monitoring.
