Why are all the newest camcorders so small? For those of us with bigger hands and fingers, they are so inconvenient. Don't get me wrong, I don't want a shoulder mount. But something the size of the JVC HD7 with the performance of these new "near-microscopic" cams from Sony, Cannon, etc. and some nice manuel controls would be appreciated. So, will it ever happen?

The SR11 & SR12 from Sony are larger than the tiny cams and offer a viewfinder along with some manual controls.

Thanks, Ken, I will take a look at those. But, I am looking at something a little bigger, with the features of the FX7, like 20x zoom, 3 cmos, etc. Won't have enough money until May at the earliest, so it seems unlikely that I will be able to find an FX7 for the price it was earlier this year, at that time. I am sorta a day late and a dollar short. I am hoping against hope that NAB will provide something to rescue me from my pain.
