I have a chance to get a low hour Runco CL-710 for a fair deal and would like to hear any thoughts on this projector, how is the picture, reliability, ease of setup etc..... I am looking for a decent 720p projector and hope this one fits the bill.

Depends on the deal. It is a good projector (or was for it's day). But, there are actually better units now that don't cost all that much. So, it depends on the deal.

The offer was $750, but I think I could haggle a bit. What would the other units that you mentioned be?

Ah well that is a good deal. The only thing to make sure is that it still does have low hours...a new lamp is over $500.
