Nope. Not at all when you can buy (2) 65PZ750U's for under $10k and have 130" in screen real estate. ;)

My "bargain" was a joke. Yes, they have it in stock at my closest Bestbuy/Magnolia in Aventura, FL.

If you are going to spend that kind of money I would recommend that you get a 65PZ750U, 1080p projector + 120" screen, and pocket the rest of the money.

I would spend that money on a 70" Kuro but never on a LG product.

I agree...LG makes products that don't stand out and are always priced higher than the competition, in which their main focus are for commercial installs. They market their flat panels towards digital signage applications. Not to say that they produce a bad product, but their consumer market as just one aspect of their business.

a friend of mine owns a local pub and put in a large LG plasma about 22 months ago. it runs 20 hrs/day, 360 days/year. not one failure/issue.
i found it hard to believe but its true. i go their all the time, its always on, 6 am to 2 am.
i was/still am impressed.

I will say I do not recommend any LG, but the 71" is different. We sold about 5 this year.

I agree. The 71" looks like a different animal. Picture is very good indeed.

You can always tell the people that didn't do too well in geometry.
2 x 65" =/ 130" (that is a does not equal symbol)

However, if you had said you can buy 4 65" Panny than I would have had to agree with this statement.

A bargain considering Sony's 70" LCD is nearly $35K. Haha, oh Sony, you silly goose.
