I am in in the market for a good OTA HD antenna to compliment my switch from Cox communications for cable.

Antenna web reports that. I have a friend who used some $50 radio shack antenna and was able to pickup all the good local feeds, but I figured I would ask the pros before I ran out and bought something from radio shack. I am mainly only concerned with the ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX channels, anything past those are a plus.

Best thing to do is go to the Local HDTV Thread in the AVS forum and go to the Mobile-Pensacola LOCAL thread and post the question there and others in your area can tell you what they use there in your area. Hope it helps.

You could try the CS-102 antenna from kowatec Corporation. This antenna have been review on Home Theater Magazine Sept 2007 as one of the best.

This is a 4 dB gain antenna, right up there with rabbit ears and loops, only prettier. Consider something proven instead.
