Hi everyone, i'm new to this forum and it seems to be filled with interesting information.

I have a problem, I purchased a sammy 5054 about 6-7 months ago, had my hd satbox hooked up through hdmi with picture looking stunning! what a nice picture this tv has compared to my sammy 4053. Out of the blue one day the hdmi input said no signal while watching tv. Board had gone bad had it replaced within a week under warranty however the quality of the display now has decreased tremendously. The picture almost looks horrible now. What could be the cause of this and what can I do to fix this?

Don't know. Perhaps your repair tech did a poor job. Call them and Sammy and have the company come and look at what's happening.
