I dont know anything about projectors and was hoping someone could enlighten me.I will be getting a marantz sr8002 soon.The rec has 2 HDMI outputs.I'm looking ino maybe getting a projector but dont know enough.My viewing distance is approx 9' from my present display.I'm assuming a screen could be setup to be placed directly infront of my display.now how far can a projector be min and max to be able to view on say a 60" screen from 9' viewing distance.Also DLP or LCD dont know?Are there projectors that are portable enough that the projector could actually be placed in front of the viewing position say on a table when in use.using the marantz i would just have to connect the 1 HDMI out to the projector which is very convenient as that would be the only connection i would need to do.i hope my post is understood and would really like to learn about this.

Budget?

I really havent set a budget for myself yet.But probably around 4-800 or less.used or new is not a problem.But i dont know enough to even know if i could use one,would like to but thats why i'm inquireing.
