Ok I will try and make this short and sweet. My optima HD70 has 118 hours on the bulb. Probably since about hr 100 I noticed a horizontal line that slowly goes up the screen...at times barely noticeable....other times fairly lighter in color and completely distracting! It just seems like the refresh rate is off but how do I change the refresh rate??

This happens on all inputs.

Sometime you can see 3 bars on the screen....they are all spaced the same distance from each other and always moving from the bottom to the top.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I have been thru and thru the manual and have nothing to show for it. This is my last effort before I contact Optima about a replacement.
Please someone chime in and tell me what I'm doing wrong. Most people don't even notice it, but its all I look for watching it and its driving me crazy. If anyone needs, I can make/post up a video.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

What input? Are they all coming from the same source? Have you changed cables? I have over 700 hours on my bulb and no issues like what you describe.

sounds like what you are seeing is something to do with the grounding off your system. I fought this issue with my first projector.

I was able to solve it by installing a 3 prong to 2 prong converter for the power cord of your projector. You can get them from the hardware store.
