I must preface this by saying that I haven't heard either sub personally. However, the Bic H100 is generally considered to be one of the best if not the best sub out there for <$250. On the other hand, the A3-300 is regarded as one of the best if not the best subs out there for ~$500. IMO, the difference in sound quality and extension would be quite large between the Bic and the A3-300. If it were me, I'd go with the eD without thinking twice. If you stack the Bics, they might get a bit louder than one A3-300...maybe. But the eD will go quite a bit deeper and should have better sound quality (from what people have said). Hopefully people with experience with one or both of the subs can give you a more direct comparison :). Good luck.

I haven't heard either one myself, but based on the specs, design and potential of each, I would choose the one A3-300 without any hesitation.

One eD I think will kill the bics. I have an A5-350 w/LT-550; bigger, but in a much larger room and it shakes the foundation. You will not be disappointed with A3-300.

Oh, if you do get the eD, splurge for the hourglass feet, if for no other reason than "just in case..."

I have minimal experience with both, but I can confidently say get the A3!

The eD will outclass the BIC in sound quality,built quality and extension. Not even to be compared,it is a slaughterhouse.

if you're handy with woodworking...

you can buy the port, amp and driver from eD, ask for the plans of the A3-300, edit it a bit to fit your room (optional). voila. subwoofer within a few weeks.

In hindsight this was the way to go although it will cost you just as much if not a few dollars more. Plus you can finish it any way you want. I've been waiting now 2 months to the day for my A3-300 and they are still making the box. They will tell you 6-8 weeks.. take it with a large grain of salt. And be sure to realize they will bill you when the begin making your box. That could be a month before it arrives.

yes I know. I'm an eD customer. i ordered 11/2/07 - shipped from eD around the last week of january. so thats around 11-12 weeks for me ... although it's very much worth the wait, in my own selfish reason, I wish they had not announced the price increase (which benefitted all you guys btw) if they hadn't announced a price increase, orders would not have surged, I and all the other people would have gotten theirs subs earlier.

so if you ordered before jan. 1 ... consider yourself lucky for catching what are already good bargains on their existing prices, but even more so the pre-jan.1 prices. :)

But if you can't wait for 3 months to get it, try the Hsu VTF-2 MK3.

I just bought an open box sub from CC and returned it within 30 days while waiting for my sub. Rinse and repeat as needed. I also looked at Craig's list, e-bay, pawn shops, newspaper, etc. for an interim sub. I'm glad I went through the hassle - my A5-350 is amazing. Wouldn't trade it for anything.
