Hello to everybody, i would like to ask something about my G70.
When i open the projector it opens not immediately , first opens without picture, lights 01 in the back panel and starts normally with picture only after 30 sec. I always keep G70 in standby mode. Is there a problem?

Thanks a lot. What is this 10 error? My brothers G70 opens immediately. Why in mine I must wait 30 sec?

The manual says error 10 indicates "The input signal is unstable." Perhaps there's nothing wrong with your G70, but it takes 30sec for your signal path to stabilize?
Try turning on all of your source components, wait a few minutes, then turn on your G70.

Mine just farts.....
No but(t) ... i do not think anything is wrong with your g 70.
Try once starting it up without using standby,
10 will come up for sure but onsync will be faster.
Might cause a dallas chip crash though in future
Who cares i will try to repair it anyway..
Now back to my cow.

If it is only momentarily not a problem. I believe this depends on the firmware version. Not really a bug but an annoyance.

The white warm-up screen time is adjustable. I'm not sure what the shortest time you can set is. I run 2 min. enough time for the white screen to stabilize before applying video.
The G70 doesn't have a true standby mode like some other PJ's. There is no power applied to any tube or major circuit.
Sounds like a normal startup.
