I have this on DVD, and I like it (so do my kids). It was released in Poland on HD DVD in early February, 2008, and in a search of these forums, I see that at least a couple of folks ordered it.

From those who have seen it - impressions to offer as to whether it is worth the upgrade to HD?

It is a very expensive release (34 Euro = around $54 US)!

Xploited Cinema is supposed to be getting this. I would also like to have the HD-DVD version -- but not for $54.

I think kannisto might have this title. Not sure if he ever posted a review though.

Actually I didn't order this one. I'm not that much into Animated titles in general unless they are Japanese Anime and interesting storywise. I had some doubts about whether this title contains the original English audio as well as some Polish sites said it only contains Polish dubbed audio.

This was a pretty entertaining movie...but yeah, not for $54 plus shipping or whatever.

It eventually be on blu-ray and you can get it for $25 at the most.

I saw this at the cinema and the movie itself was good and funny but the CGI (both the models/textures and animation) was awful so I haven't really been interested in getting it on HD DVD.

I have a Sister and her family in Poland...I'm going to see if they can find one for me and bring it over sometime later this year.

Actually I quite enjoyed the movie because the CGI wasnt so 'hyped up' and I thought gave the movie an appropriate feel. I wonder if the director was making some kind of an anti establishment statement.

Now that Xploited has this does anyone plan on getting it? As soon as someone grabs it, we will need a PQ & AQ review!

At least Tony has it for $42.95 vs. $54 bucks.

Someone will man up and get this so we can get a proper review......

I got this today. Default audio is english dolby digital. When it first started the Polish subtitles appeared but they can be turned off. Disc played all the way thru without a problem. I'm not a "reviewer" so this is just my opinion of what I saw. The transfer is sharp with vibrant color (Toshiba XA2 -Mits HD1000 -120" screen). I didn't notice any obvious flaws in the transfer but I don't look for them either. I tried to compare the standard dvd with this one. While there is a noticeable difference (more detail - better color) I wouldn't call it a "night and day" difference. That's probably true of animated movies in general. I like this film so it was a worthwhile purchase for me.
