Hi Everybody !

I just wanted to get some opinions from everybody out there .

I have two used 34 inch HDTV CRT televisions that I am trying to decide to buy .

I am not buying both , I am trying to decide which one would be the best buy .

The two models are Sony KV- 34HS510 manufactured 2003 and Panasonic CT-34WX15 manufactured 2005 .

The seller of the Sony says that the TV works perfect except there is a small banding issue ( whatever that is ? ) that is barely noticeable. He says it only shows up when he plays an xbox 360 game and he puts the game on the pause menu . I have read that some people have had issues like that , and some have been lucky and has fixed it through the service menu .

I have not seen either TV yet .

Does anybody have any honest opinions out there as to which TV would be the best buy ?

Thanks !!

Hi again !

No one out there has any opinions ?

The reason I still like the crt hdtv is because I still do not like the pic quality of the lcd and plasmas . Even though they are getting much better in regards to pic quality now than in the previous years , but I think I will wait a couple of more years .

Any help guys ? The Televisons I mentioned are basically the same price , so I am just trying to decide which one would have a better pick and better reliability etc....

Thanks !!!

I owned the 30 inch version of the sony set that you are looking at a few years back. It was a very good set. It was good out of the box with performance, but really shined after an ISF calibration. I would would recommend if you go with the sony to look into having it calibrated.

I have the panny in my bedroom and have never had any problems with it. Very good picture at 1080i.

Better looking than the sony I think.

John, I'm curious to know what the sellers are asking.
I too, am in the market for a used ct-34wx15.
I've owned one for 3+ years now and have always wanted to put another in the bedroom.
Do you mind sharing the asking price of both televisions?
