I just got new z2000 and hooked up with ps3 through dvi cable using hdmi adpater. Picture's nice..

But I have a weired problem..
After watching blueray movie the screens flicker in and out every 2 seconds on menu and movie(not blueray like demo on 1080p 60hz)..

If I change resolution to 1080i then problem go away..
Also if I turn off both ps3 and z2000 and then turn those on again, the screen is fine... It only happen after watching blueray on 24 hz...

Anyone has the same problem??

I did couple more tests...
1. Turn on and off projector and ps3 sometimes doesn't work...
2. Unplug hdmi cable and replug on ps3 solve the problem..
(sometimes problem doesn't occur even after playing blueray-after doing 2 but not always)

I am thinking seriously of purchasing a Z2000 and did have questions about whether it could handle 1080p/24fps. This question does not seem to have been satisfactorily answered anywhere. If you find out whether that is the problem please post. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

princeton3:

There is some mention of the Z2000's 1080p/24 capability in ProjectorCentral's review of the Panasonic AE2000.

As far as I know, it can handle 1080p/24fps. When I set up a menu at ps3 for this, the information on Z2000 showed that the signal is 1080p/24fps.

Why are you using the DVI cable adapter? I believe that Blu-ray has some kind of protection against copy right so that might be the problem.
