I was having issues with my DSL service last week and in the troubleshooting I had disconnected my DirecTV HR21 from the phone jack. Now that a good several days have passed I noticed that nearly every SD channel in my program guide says "To be Announced". This include network programming as well as Pay Per View channels.

Has anybody experienced this? I ran a system test and all passed. I was wondering if the guide has not repopulated since the phone was down for a day or two. If that would be true, why would my HD programs show in the guide?

Anybody have any ideas before I call D* and get placed on hold to way to long?

Have you tried to hit the reset button ?

As it turns out I simply did a restart on the system. A loss of guide data sounded more like a data send then a DVR issue so I assumed I was not getting the transfer.

Upon a restart, it was mostly repopulated.
