Can the Pioneer 400V or 400VK ( is the K referring to UK version? ) play PAL DVD's without mods with NTSC output ( ie for my plasma panel ?) I found this web page which says they have to be modified : http://www.regioncodefreedvd.com/pioneer400.html
This online site is similar to several others like dvdcity.com . All purport to make hardware changes for better PAL to NTSC conversion. Is this correct ? Thanks
