View Full Version : Will Guilford of Main FR701 give me a batcave? Or other options for making one? reio-ta 03-09-08, 09:30 PM . CaspianM 03-10-08, 12:00 AM Velvet and then duvetyne. http://www.magnafabrics.com/category/540.htm Or: http://www.rosebrand.com/product271/Duvetyn-Black-FR.aspx?tid=2&info=duvetyne CaspianM 03-10-08, 10:22 AM How well does the rosebrand work? Is it close to 100% cotton velvet? I want an FR rating, so I'll probably choose the rosebrand. Btw, thanks! Looks like you know the answer! So why ask?!!:) This is some good stuff. Totally blackout and no sheen. Cheap too. If you order over 50 yards, you get it for $4.05 per yard. http://www.rosebrand.com/product271/Duvetyn-Black-FR.aspx?tid=2&info=duvetyne Duvetetyn is very durable. My only complaint is it usually isn't fire resistant. But this stuff is! Seriously, I bought this stuff years ago to line my RPTV. I was told it was FR. Best to email them. I bought them locally but have read rose is a good source. CaspianM 03-10-08, 06:11 PM My ht equimpent is listed in my profile. If you use a 8'ish screen size I like my XG better compared to all the fixed panels I've had including my current Optoma HD7300 a DC3 high endish 720p. I have seen the JVC RS1 is close but not enough. There are more than just black level. Once you get accustomed to a good CRT PQ it is hard to prefer the digital imo. One of my early comments to you was to get a nice CRT with low hour and clean tubes. You can always have a digital but CRT has its own look which I like. I only use the Optoma for TV watching. |
