I have Directv DVR HR10-100S, and would like to transfer files from it directly to PC. I have 2 dozen shows recorded that I'd like to watch on my laptop during plane flights. I know how to (and can) transfer these shows by playing them and recording on my PC.

My questions is: Can I transfer them in bulk without replaying them? That's over 10 hours of programming that I don't want to watch again until I'm on the flight!

Any help would be appreciated.

The HR10 (but not the HR20 or HR21) can be 'hacked' to allow transfer of recorded files from DVR to PC. However, specific discussion of such hacks is not permitted on this forum.
