Hi Guys

My Panasonic PT-AE700 Projector is starting to fade in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. It is a couple of years old and has over 3500Hrs on the Lamp. I thought this was the lamp going, but according to some people on other Web Forums, this sounds like a Projector problem and not a Lamp problem, as when the lamp goes the whole screen goes dim.

Anyone have any ideas?

I managed to get some pics of the problem.

I've also noticed that the screen burn seems to be kicking in a lot quicker now and staying longer around where the problem is in the bottom right hand corner.

In some cases its more noticeable than others, so I took pics of the Xbox startup screen as the problem shows up more clearly with it.

In one of the Xbox logo screens you can see a burn from the Xbox dashboard, which was only on screen for a minute or so before I restarted the xbox to take another picture.

Any Ideas?

Looks like a polarizer or LCD panel issue to me...

It's out of warranty. can these be repaired? if so , any ideas on how expensive it would be?
