I'm wondering if Best Buy is no longer getting HD-DVD new releases. I spoke with a store manager last week and he told me they would be sending back some of the older releases but still stocking the better selling existing titles as well as getting new releases.

I went and checked today for Bee Movie and Michael Clayton for tomorrow. Bee Movie isn't even in their internal system now (not good) and Michael Clayton is there as a pre-order still but none are being shipped to the 14 stores near me. I live in the town with Best Buy headquarters, so if it isn't coming here, I'm wondering if they are done getting titles period at this point.

Bee Movie was canceled so of course they won't be getting it. Into the Wild and Things We Lost in the Fire were Paramount & Dream Works last 2 HD-DVD releases.

None of the Best Buys in my area got Into the Wild last week. Later in the week thye posted a notice that they mistakenly listed it in their ad, as the movie was never manufactured, or some similar excuse. Obviously this is BS, but they were probably sick of people asking for it all the time.

Got Into the Wild for 10 bucks brand new unopened at hollywood video at lunch and they about 10 more all brand new.

My Bestbuy got Into the wild and Lost in the Fire last week, this week who knows....I really hope they do, because they are my main source of HD DVDs when there are movies I want NOW, but over all amazon is the best way to go.

My Best Buy store didn't get any of the new releases. They had signs up saying the titles weren't released by the distributor or something like that. I did snag "Into the Wild" at HV when the clerk was putting it on the shelf. She said it hadn't even been rented yet. She said that would be the last HD DVD new release they get in.

So did mine, but they sold out quickly. I ordered via in store pickup and when I got them Tuesday afternoon, only one copy of Into the Wild was left.

One of the local BBs had a sign up on Tuesday saying Into The Wild on HD-DVD wasn't being manufactured.. then 2 days later I went back (checking up on sales ;) ) and they had about 10 copies of it. Too funny.

I was at my Best Buy over the weekend and they had at least 10-15 copies of Into the Wild. I hope they get the last few decent releases like Atonement and I am Legend.

In all fairness, we were asked to print up the ad correction because everything that the vendors gave us said we weren't going to be getting the titles. Much to our surprise, they did arrive. I picked up Into the Wild as well.

Went to my local BB yesterday, they had a pretty decent supply of HD DVDs still, all 30% off. I got Beowulf!

my BB said they weren't getting any new ones...which was evident by the lack of Fletch on the shelves anywhere

all I have to say is Best Buy sucks when it comes to high def movies period, they have outrageous prices on HD-DVD and Blu-Ray movies, you can get the same movies from amazon for almost half the price, everyone please get your movies from amazon with their low prices
