Keith How far is the rear shelf from you?? keithj202 03-10-08, 09:03 PM It is about 4 or 5 feet above our heads. I'd like to get the projector as quiet as possible, with keeping it in high lamp mode. It seems like a hush box is the best option. Keith Lee Weber 03-11-08, 12:48 AM It is about 4 or 5 feet above our heads. Keith Advice I was given was to make it long enough to have 6" in front of the projector if possible. keithj202 03-11-08, 02:28 AM "Advice I was given was to make it long enough to have 6" in front of the projector if possible." I would think that you would want to have the projector pushed as close to the front of the box as possible, so the light can easily pass through the opening. I guess you would want space in front for the air to vent though... kdavis220 03-11-08, 03:30 AM I'm in a similar situation (room and projector setup wise) and I'd be interested in hearing people's recommendation on a hush box since fan and iris noise are currently my only issues with this projector. Also make it tall and wide enough to have air flow and on the top you could put sound absorbing material. |
