That's a big disappointment if true... +1. One of the reasons I enjoy Warhawk and Burnout so much is the ability communicate/trash talk with your buddies. Might pick it up if HOME fixes the voice communications issue for games that don't have it - but only after that's been proven in. Why any company would leave something so critical out of their online offerings is beyond me. I have the same complaint with Rock Band and it's one of the many reasons when I want to visit and play a game with family out of state - I play Eye of Judgement or COD4 - not Rock Band or now this game. But I'll still be buying it for sure because it's hot shots. I downloaded it from the UK store and we got our HSG fix over the weekend. That was actually much easier than I thought it would be. grand sport 03-20-08, 09:40 AM Got the game last night- wife and I played until almost 1:30am........need more coffee..... GREAT GAME! I can't wait until the first "AVS Forum Open" The online lobbies look like a miniature version of what I imaging HOME will look like. YOu get cutsy little characters to walk around and talk to people and set up games. Looks like it should be pretty easy but we didn't try it. It doesn't look like you can save multiple avatars though so when my wife and I go online we will have to recreaste the male or female charachter. No big deal I guess. The game looks great on my Sammy plasma! Better than the demo. Also, after each round is over there is a little video that seems to only say to you- "look how cool your HD TV is!!" First time you see it, you'll know what I mean. lol Anyone else get ahold of this yet? |
