I have had an import for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it was worth it. The substantial weight difference alone provides a much better feel for the controller, not to mention what the rumble feature adds to the immersiveness (is that a word?) of the game.

I've had an import DS3 for a couple months as well and it was well worth the ~$65 total that I spent. After using the XBox 360 controller the Sixaxis was like holding a feather. The DS3 has everything that the Sixaxis has as well as rumble and the much needed extra weight.

I've had a Ceramic White Dualshock3 controller for a few months and like it a lot. I finally got around to writing a review. It compares the Dualshock3 to the Sixaxis and the Dualshock2 controllers. There's some Hi-res pics as well.

Yeah, I don't think I really miss it at all.

I think I'd rather have another game or put it towards the steering wheel and pedals I'm going to get for GT5 Prologue.

Considering almost all games from now on will offer rumble support of some kind, it will probably be a nice feature to have.
