I have my stb hooked in via hdmi to my samsung a/v hdmi receiver.. then hdmi to my tv.

Depending on how i power up my components teh stb resolutions setting will reset (4:3 override will get flipped to 480i), thus my samsung receiver cant handle 480i and i get a flashing pink/green screen.

Anyone else have this problem?

I have my HD DVR HDMI connected to my Yamaha 633 Receiver and I have the same behavior. My settings go back to 720. This is not the case if I use my componect connections which happen to go straight from the STB to the TV.

It's a handshake issue between the Motorola and other devices via HDMI. Lose the HDMI and you will be fine
