Guys,
for Sony VPL-vw60...I have two choices for the screen either a Maxsuma fixed screen 120" or an Elite 120" manual pull down (both are 16:9; I personally do not want a motorized screen). Any pros-cons for one or the other? Any input will be appreciated.

Why not look at the Carada Brilliant White (1.4 gain)? My Black Pearl looks great from 15' on 118" 16x9.

Probably a function of budget. The Maxsuma I think is pretty inexpensive as memory serves, and I think the Elite is also just a few hundred.
IIRC, the Carada screens, while affordable relative to Stewart and others, are a big step up in $$.

Where to look for Carada 1.4 ? Any good leads? Budget is not really an issue but I do like to go for good deals!!!

For the VW60 I'd go with a 119" Dalite Model C High Power. You can get very good brightness with low lamp. I believe AVS carries them.

What is your lighting situation like? Ambient light? Total dark? There are several screens that would fit the bill like Stewart, Elite, DaLite, Carada, etc.
Tell us some more about your room.

Carada only sells their screens directly. I have a 126" 1:78 1.4 Carada screen and it rocks with my VW40.

check the sponsor icons at the top. they are one and they are there. i would purchase direct if you go with Carada. later.
I got the Carada brilliant white 106" screen for my BP, but I can't give you my impressions just yet as I'm still awaiting it's arrival!
