I searched this forum last night about noise reduction, absorbtion etc. and couldn't find much to go on.
I have half of my back wall that I share with a neighbor who complains about my system. And the other half is stucco. I think if I sound proof that section of wall I could at least get to play it louder.
Does anyone have experience with an Auralex Gramma pad, I was told it might reduce transmission of sound that is felt by my neighbor.
I want to reduce sound that is being heard/felt in an adjacent area.

Any and all comments are appreciated.

A lot of discussion on sound proofing goes on in the dedicated theater section of this forum. Also the Green Glue web site has a lot of background information worth reading.

While there is a lot of product promotion there is also a lot of fundamental sound containment principles discussed here:

On word of advice. Attacking a single surface in a room is usually not an effective strategy in reducing sound in adjacent spaces.

Be sure to read this on flanking sound:

Thanks for the tips. I searched 'sound proofing' here and didn't get much. Guess I didn't try hard enough. Thanks again
