I purchased a BD-P1200 and I am having a quite unusual problem. Everytime the player is turned on, the screen will be pink, if I go into the menu and change the HDMI settings to monitor the picture is perfect. Each time the unit powers down, it automatically reverts back, and this has to be done each time the unit is powered up. Firmware is current, HDMI cabling has been checked and switched with different cables. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Yes. Return the player if it's not too late. Otherwise, learn to live with a schizophrenic player and an indifferent manufacturer.
