EDIT: Got the model today, it's a 27" NEC 4PG Multisync.
Hi I'm sort of a novice so sorry if something sounds noobish, but here's my question/problem...
In my broadcasting class there's this huge NEC multisync CRT that's about 27" or so(sorry didn't get the model name - but it's huge). It's not being used for anything and it's got all these great inputs on the back(BNC composite, BNC RGB, D-sub RGB, S-video...). So being the gamer I am I brought in my Dreamcast with a D-sub cable and hooked it up. I was going to play Ikaruga in 3:4 so I flipped it and fired it up. Unfortunately what I got was a split image - no flickering - just split, reversed, and with a black bar in between. Something like this:

At first I though it just needed degaussing, but that didn't change anything. Luckily I dug up an RCA-composite to BNC-composite cable nearby and kept it on its side. Sure enough it worked just fine - but looked like crap being composite on such a large TV. I tired playing around with the D-sub-RGB dip switches but to no avail as I had no clue what I was doing.
Anyone know what could be wrong? It's probably something simple, but it's beyond me and I have no clue what the proper term would be for this issue.
