Trying to choose between these 4 projectors optoma hd80,sim2 ht300, Sony vplvw40, jvc hd1 for a client. the screen is going to be a 92" fixed screen, brand is yet to be determined. light is not really an issue, but there is a sliding door on the back wall, owever a curtain should cure the light coming in.

if anyone has any other suggestions for projectors please throw it out there.

this client has had 2 projectors before and from what she has told me they have all been horror stories(probably the company) with the simiplicity of the new projectors out of the box picture I believe it will be much better then projectors form 10-15 years ago.

im using a hd dvr cable box,mx3000, mrf250,denon 3808 and a denon 3800 blu-ray, key digital 30' python series hdmi to the projector along with 3 cat 5e(one for IR control) and two spare (just in case) as well as a 5 wire monster rgbhv- I will be using this for computer input. this should work with a rgbvh to vga adapter, no?

the system also has a 50' panny in a area adjacent to the HT room which will be able to view the bluray through a hdmi dist amplifier- IS THIS POSSIBLE? im pretty sure it is but just want to make sure. the panny plasma also has its own dvd player and hd cable box. All equipment is in the same cabinet as the HT room. I am running a 75' hdmi to the plasma as well as 3 cat 5e's and a 5 wire rgbhv monster wire. the panny plasma will have stero in ceiling speakers run off the 2nd zone on the denon and controlled via a mx 350 series universal remote

im just wondering about the dist amplifier causing problems with hdmi

I have been a die hard component fan due to the reliability of it but because blu ray is finally going main stream its time to make the switch.

unless soemone thinkgs running rgbhv via the denon 3800 will work as well
