When I put in Casino Royale into my PS3, the PS3 couldn't read it for the first 2 times I tried it. When it started working, it skipped a lot of scenes and paused. My PS3 couldn't read disks like once or twice before. Could it be my PS3 or just my Casino Royale? My games always work.

try cleaning the disc with a cloth to make sure there is no residue interfering with the laser. other then that, try another bluray or dvd to see if they play as well. if the other discs don't work, it's probabley the ps3. my guess is it's the disc.

My copy of CR works perfectly in my PS3. I love that movie so I've watched it several times. If other movies exhibit the same behavior in your PS3 then it's the PS3, if they don't then it's your copy of CR. Clean it and see if that works or get a new one.
